The Wonder Musicians are members of our music program! Our music program is a form of therapy that helps our AWEsome kids reach their non-music goals through improving communication, cognition, emotions, movement, and socialization. Music activates many different areas of the brain and is processed in both hemispheres, allowing overall improvements in many areas.

When used as a form of AWEtism therapy, our members experience music in an intentional and developmentally appropriate way. Each child has a plan tailored to their needs which allows the therapy to facilitate development in that child’s specific are of need/focus.

Our program is taught by First Coast Music Therapy. They are certified by the Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) to work with our Wonder Musicians.
